Words

"I would hurl words into this darkness and wait for an echo, and if an echo sounded, no matter how faintly, I would send other words to tell, to march, to fight, to create a sense of hunger for life that gnaws in us all." ~Richard Wright, American Hunger, 1977

"I write when I dream and I dream when I write."

Who Said It? Friday

Let's play a game where you have to guess who said what. It may be song lyrics or words from a book or speech or poem. It's just a fun trivia game I hope everyone will enjoy.

This is the first Friday of Who Said it? Friday. Let's see if you can guess this one. This is from one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite artist. Who said this:

"What a night for a dance, you know I'm a dancing machine
With the fire in my bones, and the sweet taste of kerosene.
I get lost in the light, so high don't wanna come down
To face the loss of the good thing, that I have found..."
